• Visit Github Education And then Click on Sign-in on the top-right corner of the page and sign in with Github (I am assuming you have created a github account by now , if not please refer to the last section)

• After having done the registration Click on Join Github education or Register for Student benefits Whichever appears on Your Browser

• Select Student or Teacher whichever you are ( *Please note that this step may differ as in my case this page was loaded directly , but if it doesn't in your case try accessing this URL directly Click here

• There are also some more requirements you should fulfil which are on that page only , Also you can Track your Application Status on the Right side of the page

• In some colleges you may be prompted for college-domain email which you should provide , without it your application will most likely be rejected a student college domain id MAY look like this

(roll no.)/(name) @ cse.(college-name).co.in (Just an example)

Important Editor's Advice before registration

1. While applying, the application may be rejected if you are not inside or around the campus, so complete the registration process while inside the campus. So only start the application process while you are around the campus

2. Also you'll be prompted for providing your proof of enrollment like in the below image , Provide a clear proof of enrollment , best would be to get a snapshot of your college id card with your name and eligible date clearly visible , Sometimes what happens is like in my case , ID card has name on one side and Elibiblity date on the other side , in such cases Try to edit the 2 photos and merge them into one and then click & Upload the photo

3. Sometimes while registering after you submit your application you are directed to fill the application form again and sometimes this happens without github showing what went wrong , in such cases it is advisable to check how you uploaded your proof of enrollment because these proofs are validated via Github AI.
